o Cm. Jones moved MOTION to support renewal of Class C liquor license conditioned on Busboys and
Poets entering into an amended Voluntary Agreement (based on most recent updated language) with
the ANC 8A which shall be submitted to ABRA. Consequently, if Busboys and Poets fails to enter into the
voluntary agreement by July 1st 2019; ANC 8A shall protest Busboys and Poets’ ABRA license seeking

Update from the District Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA)
o SPEAKER: Ernest Chrappah, Acting Director DCRA Spoke about DCRA planned modernization efforts
and revamping of service level agreements and introduced DCRA’s new portal to the community.
Update from DC Office of Police Complaints
o SPEAKER: Nykisha Cleveland, Public Affairs Specialist, DCOPC Educated the public on how to file
formal complaints against officers for wrong doing and harassment.
Community Concerns: Community members expressed neighborhood concerns.
Public Announcements: Community members announced upcoming events and scholarship opportunities for
for Ward 8 residents.
